DESIGN STUDY 009 takes an American sports-car classic and gives it a subtle Custom Classic treatment. Bright Red Apple Matte wraps the unmistakable early Corvette shape, while the air-suspension stance and staggered ASANTI wheels, finished in Black Gloss Milled with chrome accents and deep-dish rears, bring the proportions closer to the pavement without taking attention away from the original design.
Introduced in 1953, this was where the Corvette story began — the first model year of a nameplate that would become one of America’s most recognizable sports cars.
Inside, the treatment gets quieter. Charcoal Gray leather across the seats and door panels is paired with a matching suede dashboard, while Light French Gray and White stitching provide subtle contrast. A Light French Gray suede-wrapped steering wheel brings the lighter tone forward and keeps the cabin composed against the much louder exterior.
The concept is completed with a CRISPY sound system featuring four speakers, two tweeters, a bass-tube subwoofer, a single amplifier color-coded in Bright Red Apple Matte, and a digital equalizer.
But this one doesn’t need a complicated philosophy.
