perceptioN (Corinthians 4:18)
What we see isn’t always the whole picture.
perceptioN draws its title and perspective from 2 Corinthians 4:18—a passage centered on looking beyond what is visible and temporary toward what cannot be seen and what endures.
Through the visual language of JECK ONE, that idea is translated into graffiti contemporary art. Layers of lettering, color, form and movement invite the eye to explore what is immediately visible while the title encourages a second consideration: what exists beyond the surface.
The result is a piece that can be experienced visually before it is understood conceptually. Its connection to Harlem graffiti culture gives it a distinct foundation, while its underlying message extends beyond any particular place or moment.
