FIRED is a JECK ONE Graffiti Contemporary piece built around layered graffiti forms, bold color and fire imagery. The flames surrounding the composition give the piece a sense of disruption and transformation—something being interrupted, but not necessarily destroyed.
Inspiration
The inspiration behind FIRED came after I was fired from a job. At the time, being fired felt like what we’re usually taught it is—a setback, something bad happening to you.
Then it happened again.
Looking back at what followed those experiences changed the meaning of the word for me. Each time I was forced out of one situation, I eventually moved into something bigger and better—more money, new opportunities and, most importantly, more freedom.
I stopped seeing being fired as the end of something and started seeing it as the universe forcing me to move on when I might not have moved on myself.
FIRED represents that shift in perspective. Sometimes what feels like rejection or loss is actually movement. Sometimes the thing burning behind you is the very thing that keeps you from going backward.

Place each of the mounting hooks 1 inch (2.5 cm) from frame corners when hanging horizontally.
