Sometimes breaking tradition is what makes you look twice.
DESIGN STUDY 004 takes one of the most recognizable shapes of its era and gives it a darker presence — Clean Black Matte across the body, an air-suspension stance, and one-off JECKONEDESIGN JD1SRmx2 two-piece wheelsfinished in Ultra Black High Gloss with chrome caps.
Rather than replacing the visual identity of the original wheel design, the larger, staggered interpretation with deep-dish rear wheels evolves its proportions while keeping the familiar character intact.
For JECK ONE, however, preservation comes first. An original example in excellent or mint condition deserves to remain that way. This type of transformation is better suited to a vehicle already requiring significant exterior restoration — creating an opportunity to evolve what remains rather than erase what has survived.
Introduced during an extraordinary period of Italian automotive design, this V12 fastback became celebrated for combining dramatic proportions, performance and unmistakable presence. DESIGN STUDY 004 explores what that presence could become when tradition is approached with restraint rather than abandoned altogether.
Inside, black becomes a study in material and finish. Gucci GG Monogram embossed black calfskin leather blends with Midnight Black suede and Vintage Faded Black leather across the seats, door panels and rear cargo area. An Ultra Black suede-wrapped steering wheel and Charcoal Gray suede headliner continue the treatment, while Charcoal Gray, Black and White stitching provides subtle definition between the different surfaces.
The concept is completed with a CRISPY sound system featuring seven speakers, four tweeters, a bass-tube subwoofer, a single amplifier finished in Ultra Black High Gloss, and a digital equalizer.
Original or reimagined, it's the kind of shape that's difficult to stop looking at.
